This Privacy Policy explains how Finder Boss ("we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, and protects your information in connection with your use of the Finder Boss GPS Tracker mobile application (the "Service").

2. Information We Collect

A. Precise Geolocation Data

Finder Boss collects precise, real-time location data (Latitude and Longitude) to provide core tactical tracking features. This data is only collected when you actively enable "Sender Mode" or join a "Convoy Room."

            BACKGROUND LOCATION DISCLOSURE: 
            To support the Emergency Intercept system and continuous convoy tracking, Finder Boss collects location data even when the app is closed or not in use. This ensures your designated group members can locate you during an SOS event or a long-distance convoy ride without requiring you to keep your screen active, significantly improving safety and battery management.
        

B. Device Identifiers & Telemetry

Network Broadcast ID: A unique 9-character alphanumeric ID generated locally via SharedPreferences to securely link Senders and Receivers.
Status Telemetry: User-selected status markers (e.g., HOME, CR, WAITING, EMERGENCY) to communicate your state to authorized users.
Advertising IDs: Used for secure database access and ad delivery via Google AdMob to provide the service at no cost to users.

4. Data Sharing & Security

The Convoy Protocol: Your location is shared exclusively with users to whom you have provided your Broadcast ID or members of your specific Convoy Room. All coordinates are transmitted via secure SSL/TLS encryption to our Firebase real-time database.

Data Lifetime: Location data is ephemeral. Once a session is manually ended by the user, coordinates are cleared from the active real-time database.

5. User Rights & Permissions

You have full control over your data. You may stop sharing at any time by pressing "STOP SHARING," which immediately ceases data collection. You can revoke background location permissions in your device settings at any time, though this will disable the emergency and background tracking features.
